    Default softening feet

I've found a pair of latex gloves pulled over feet after rubbing in moisturiser leaves me with lovely soft feet after about half an hour!

I had to bring this thread up....

What a suprise to receive such detail instructions..

Actually, I don't think we take good enough care of our feet, as a female.

We paint the toenails, because we wear open shoes and it "looks nice" but under the feet?

How many of us "really" scrubb in the shower/bath, exfoliating and then put feet cream on?

    Curious.

(I have them in my cupboard - when used it feels wicked) But, as it's not something I do everyday I personally forget...

Do you? If so how many times a week? Month? Year haha.

Hmmm I tend to agree with you, I have a pumice as a permanent fixture in the shower. I use it regularly. Weekly or more if I wear open shoes. It makes a tremendous difference.

I am seriously surprised at the amount of unhealthy toenails I have seen in that last few years on adults. Is toenail fungus becoming an epidemic or what?

Keeping your toes nails clean (under the toenails) and dry keeps that stuff away but it takes persistence. And spraying your feet with 50/50 hydrogen peroxide/water solution helps keeps your nails healthy and whiter, no need for french pedicures...

I am a freak for hydrogen peroxide/water solution, Apple Cider Vinegar and lemons....has anyone figured that out yet??? LOL

I take very good care of my feet, and the feet of many others too, LOL! Not that I love feet or anything like that, but as a Nail Tech it's part of my job. If I could give up doing pedi's tomorrow, I would. I would still take good care of my feet if that were to happen because I have gotten into habit of it, and I really enjoy taking good care of them. But, taking care of feet that don't belong to me is another thing in itself.
I agree with you. Most women do the obvious, and simple things that give their feet a quick pick-me-up, such as polishing their toes, and, perhaps they may use lotion on a regular basis to help keep dry skin at bay. But, there is much more to it than that. It's kind of a chore to give yourself a good pedi, but it's so worth it.

Hi - I have the roughest heels! Thanks for the tips on the feet gloves and the hydrogen perioxide spray. Any tips on the best lotion?

I would suggest "Ultra heel & elbow cream" I hope it will surely help you out to keep your feet very soft.

i am really fussy about my feet because living in a hot dry climate you see so many well groomed beautiful women with dry cracked UGLY feet. i scrub in the shower, then while my feet are damp rub in some glycerine, then hand lotion, then olive oil and then go to bed in socks, i do this a couple of times a week, as well as getting pedicures every so often. i also tried soaking them in water with perioxide and baking soda, to keep them clean looking. writing all this down - i have just realised i am a bit obsessive. but anyway try the olive oil, i used to use vaseline but have found the olive oil so much better, if you dont like the smell, a couple of drops of lavender oil works a treat!!!
