    Default Breast implant shape

I have been considering breast implants for years. Unfortunately, my breasts are the same 32/34A size as they were since I was 13-years old. The main concern I have about implants are the shape and tell-tale outline. I am afraid that I will end up with breast shape like cereal bowls that are stiff. I've heard that implants can be placed under the chest muscle for a more natural look, but it would be the more painful option. I figured since it would be painful no matter what, then I might as well chose the more natural-looking option. Can anyone help me confirm or dispell my curiosity? Are breast implants stiff? Do they loosen up? Are there visible outline-indentation at the edges of the implants? Has anyone had them placed under the chest muscle?

Now-a-days you have millions of different options when it comes to breast implants. I know a woman whose breasts are filled with string behind the muscle so that they can never "pop".

If you decide to get an implant that is no more than two sizes larger than your natural breast, and they are capable of placing it behind the muscle it should look and feel much more natural.

The procedure is very difficult though and extremely painful.

A friend of mine had her breast increased from a large A to a normal C and it was near impossible to tell they were fake by simply looking at it. I never felt them, so I can't say personally if they felt natural, but she and her husband didn't seem to mind. She had the normal operation.

One thing about breast implants is that you will likely not be able to breastfeed, though some women do, some women's implants will break due to the baby's sucking. Also they have to be "touched up" every 7 to 10 years.

    Even fake boobies sag!

    Hope this helps!

I have recently had a breast audmentation in nov.2007 I have to say i have had no problems what so ever they feel and look very natural. I myself was a 32/34A I went to a 32/34D. I got them on a friday, the procedure took about an hour they went under the muscle. recovery was a couple of days. Friday I came home took my meds took a nap (on my back) got up ate laid around. Sat got up no pain a little tight took the muscle relaxers like supposed to and the other meds the prescribed didn,t really take the pain killers( but everyones pain levels are different) I was back to work on Tues. (cutting hair). Best advice find a docotor you are comfortable with. I would do it again. I hope this helps you. Before i forget the are very natural they dont look like ceral bowls and they are not in my chin the look and feel like they are mine. They lay very natural If you need more info you can contact me at ***Address Removed - Not Allowed***

    Default Great info

What about the way they feel.... I remember when my wife's milk came in she grew about 3 sizes.... I was facinated and loved the look, but they were hard.... now they are smaller and very very very soft!!

Do implants make you hard like that? I love the look of large shapely breasts, but love the softness too.... my wife has been considering an enlargement, but we have a lot of questions....

Thanks for the good first hand information....

    Wink thank you, trcybrb!

trcybrb, thank you for the thoughtful information. I have been dying to get them for such a long time now, but have held back due to the lack of peer information. You were very informative. And for those of you that are reading this post, I found a website that was very helpful with before and after photographs:

You can also call a local surgeon of your choice and set up what is called a consultation appointment. There is no charge (at least here where I live) for these type of appointments and you are able to discuss what you are looking for/what he suggests, and what options are available to you. You are also able to handle and look at the implants.

    Good luck!

I have been looking at getting this done myself. There are lots of choices. Under the muscle is meant to look more natural but I have also heard that over time these are more likely to shift.

You also have two choices in shape, round or tear shape. I'm guessing the tear shape give a more natural look.

The other choice is whether you get saline or gell. I know that there is a lot of scare about silicon but the gell they use now is different. the saline ones are more likely to leak and give you that ridge look as the gell moulds to your body more naturally.

Get a referral fron your dr to a good surgeon and he will answer many of these questions. It is good though to get advise here to know what questions you want to ask.

    Good luck
