    Unhappy Oh no, a bump

Today while BF and I were fooling around in bed he felt a bump under my skin near my nipple! Well actually on my areola. I'm scared, do I go see a doctor? How soon can they tell if it's cancer!! OMG I want kids in the future and be able to breast feed them, not some fake milk in a can.

The bump doesn't hurt, and you don't need to press or rub hard to feel it, and it kind of moves around under the skin a little. But there is a red bump on the surface that doesn't hurt at all and it doesn't really protrude. It's not a scab or open wound just a little bump. But the one under the skin is kinda big, about the diameter of my middle finger, and it's hard.

Just so you know, I am overweight, I am 23 no kids. I used to smoke for 8 years before I quit 2 years ago.

What could it be? Please help

First of all, try to calm down (easier said than done, I know).

It could be a number of different things, I also found four bumps in both of breasts 4 years ago... turns out it was nothing and I nearly had a nervous break down.

You should go to the doctor though, it's important to be sure.
