Default Return your skin to it's natural shade?

Is it possible to return your skin to it's natural color? I'm pretty fair skinned, but I pretty burnt from living here in Guatemala.

I bought a lotion that is supposed to return your skin to it's natural color (Nivea) but I just bought it yesterday so it's not like I tell a difference yet...

Has anyone ever tried to return their skin to it's natural color? What did you use?

I like Nivea but i can't honestly believe that all these potions and lotions actually take away wrinkles ( unless your injecting collegen) , or turn your skin colour from brown to white ( unless your Michael Jackson)....

When i spent 3 months in Greece, my nails grew, my skin glowed, my hair blonded almost white it was amazing compared to Australia's sun.

I think you have to use loads of sunscreen and protective foundation with 30+, floppy hats, and look after your face if you feel like it's a "burnt" colour more so than a new fresh natural glow from the sunkiss...

I am fair skinned, fortunate that i follow my Dad, i can tan easy, nicely just from watering the garden. So, i do have to watch it a bit...

I should have gone to Greece instead of Guatemala!!

I get burned pretty easily, and I have ugly tan lines that I'd like to get rid of! The sunscreen, of course, is an obvious necessity (forgive my spelling... I don't speak much English anymore!!), but I'm wishing for a "quick fix" for my skin!!

    ....I'm a dreamer... I know...

What's LMAO? lol... I'm learning, we don't even say s/o here? sounds much better than partner, has a nice ring to it, significant other half, took me ages to work that one out

Truly, i was gobsmacked after those 3 months, i wanted to live there...

Na, your not a dreamer, i'm a believer of " never give up/seek and you shall find/keep trying until you succeed.........

I am sure you s/o doesn't care anyway about the ugly tan lines... you both seem to be having lots of fun...

But i understand, it's a pain to say the least...

Nivea have a cream with makeup in it, sort of soft glow tan, maybe that will at least change the colour a little?

Foundation is great out in the sun on your face, even though natural is so much better.

    Good luck.

LMAO - laughing my *** off

You know how in the USA men love a woman with a glowing tan?? In Guatemala men love women with fair skin

I've always had fair, white skin (and always loved it).... I miss it!! Guess I'll keep applying this cream (worst that can happen is I'll have soft skin!) and see what happens....

if it doesn't work at least I'm not curious about it anymore, right?

It worked! Omg.... well, my husband has noticed a big difference, though I cannot, but I see myself in the mirror constantly.

But hey, hubby is happy and my tan lines are fading faster than normal. YAY!

I'd kill to go to a tanning bed nakie... *sigh*
