Please notify me immediately if you see someone posting SPAM or innappropriate messages. Using this site solely to advertise anything is forbidden! There are people who have been using this forum in an abusive way and we will NOT tolerate it. It is difficult for me to catch them all right away so please help out and let me know if you see something that should be removed. I would really appreciate it!

I just wanted to say thanks to all the members who have been reporting spam posts! You have really been a great help. For some reason, someone with apparantly nothing better to do has been spamming us a LOT today and trying to be "funny" about it. So anyway, thanks for helping keep our forums neat and tidy!

Replying to the spammers posts encourage them to come back again; obviously these posts are not written by humans, rather machines, but they often have a mechanism to count how many replies and how many hits they get from a certain website. We don't want them to come back, so please don't encourage them ... by making fun of them or otherwise.

We do have a confirmation email; I don't remember if there's a captcha or not. But they still get through. There have been fewer and fewer over the last few months; we keep them pretty well eliminated through the hard work of my mods And of course if we miss some, members reporting spam helps a great deal.
Now if only we could get regular members to stop posting links and stop deliberately going around the profanity blocker, we'd really be in business Of course, some of those blocked words are downright "stup!d," but others are blocked for a reason.
