I've been watching food network for years and I agree it's a pretty good channel too. It's pretty interesting how many different shows you can make about food, that are good.
I like Diners, drive ins and dives too, and i even like Guy Fieri's regular cooking show too. (Which actually kind of surprises me, because when I first saw him when he got his start on The Next Food Network star, i really didn't care for him at the time.) 30-minute meals i think's also pretty good. (and actually is even where i got our family's meatball/Italian hamburger patty recipe that my husband raves over.)
I also liked the original Iron Chef, (a classic,) but the American spinoff I don't think is bad either.
But speaking of food network though (and on a women's site no less,) how can I not mention Tyler Florence. That easy on the eyes, and so sweet, and just so, so nice too... I think I saw near every episode of Food 911, lol.
At least half of why i watched was for the food! heh
(Actually funny story on that note. Once when looking over the food network message boards, I saw someone had posted a thread titled "Tyler Florence with his shirt off".
The joke was though, when you clicked it, it was basically a woman saying haha- just wanted to see how many hits this thread got! The real punch line was she was right. I believe it had like 10x as many as all the other threads around it, lol!)

    Hi Everyone,

This is my first posting here so I thought I'd begin gently before moving to the other forums.

My DH and I like many of the Food Network shows with Giada, Barefoot Contessa, Tyler (of course), and DH (and me I suppose) likes Good Eats (Alton is cute in his own way and I really did like the short show he did from town to town on a motorcycle until he got hurt)

The only two I really don't like are Paula Deen and Semi-Homemade. Paula's accent and copious amounts of butter really annoy me and Sandra Lee's recipes are just a step above being processed. Also, neither of us are that thrilled with Ace of Cakes.
