Based on a True Story

I love movies that are based on a true story, they definitely have that little something special because you know you are watching something that at least remotely happened... What are some of your favorites? I'm going to have to say that Into the Wild would be my personal favorite.

The thing I do not like with the titiles of "inspired by" or "based on" or whatever, it turns out that it was just a tad of what the true story was. I think that lable is very misleading.

I'm reading one right now. It's going to be on BET on Sunday at 10. I think I'm going to record it and than watch it after I read the book. It's called The Secret Life of Bees. It's really good so far. I just started reading it the other day.

I love movies based on a true story, and I love documentaries. For the ones based on a true story, I really enjoy it when there is a narration going on. That really puts me into the film.

Secret Life of Bees...wasnt that movie out awhile ago?? The Graduate is awesome!! I;ve never seen Fargo though..someone else told me about that movie the other day too..should check it out...is it a murder mystery though? I'm really looking for a suspenseful true murder story!! any other ideas?

The secret life of bees is a true story? I'm so excited to see that now,not that i wasn't before. ;-) Strangers was based on a true story, probably pretty loosley though. But if you really want to see something sccary there is always the news.
