Isabella.. I'm sending it onto you then... It has some red wine stains so you can start using your imagination haha in covering that part with sequines maybe? Or something, cut the bottom, what ever you want to do to it.. It's on it's way....

Because, 2 days ago I finally worked a settlement for my DIVORCE whoo hoo... He has always felt I should give him money, even though he earns more than me haha, because we were married his mortgage is 30 years now, where as before me, his un-liveable home with walls knocked out, bright yellow and green walls, 1960's bathroom/kitchen was renovated because "we got married"... Anyways... he does get money off me, (men!!) but I get the better picture as time goes by, years go by, so I am happy as....

I don't know why I wouldn't do it. $900 spent on a dress that was shoved in a box 11 years ago and hasn't seen the light of day since. My opinion now, weddings are overrated and a complete headache, thrown to please everyone else and not yourselves. If I had to do it all over again, it would be completely different.

I won't get married again, may have a commitment ceremony on a beach somewhere just us, but no marriage...

I bet the picture taken on that day would mean more than the hours spent leading up to the last wedding and I'd have more energy for the bedroom this time haha.

Same with my mom, she was married twice, won't do it again. She's been with the guy I consider my step-dad (more of a dad, than my own) for 13 years.

Seriously... I completely passed out on my wedding night, no hot sex here... Made it to the suite at the hotel, got my dress off, managed to put on something sexy, but the minute I hit the bed, I was out cold!

    LOL...

I was stressed to the hilt myself, I did consumate the marriage but not lovingly, deeply, intimately, it was like hurry up then.

OMG, I knew I wasn't meant to have married him in the first place, grrrr.. How I have grown and learnt....

Definately going for the beach, 10 minutes, a couple cocktails, giggles, hugs, kisses and straight to that room this time.

    HAHA.

I thought about this thread....I guess it's the money factor that bothers me. Like why spend lots of money on something and then trash it????? Unless you already have alot of money,I think I'd change my opinion and say it's okay. If I had millions of dollars I'd trash an expensive dress for sure!!!
CW if the dress has red wine stains that makes it sound cooler. There's a legend of a ghost called the White Witch who lives in Niles Canyon and she walks around wearing a torn and blood stained wedding dress. I'd so be her for Halloween lol...I'd wear that dress and walk around Niles Canyon after midnight LOL.

I also agree weddings can be overrated but I would never trash a nice dress if I did'nt have the money to replace it.

LOL White Witches rule!!! Interesting now I know one from Australia too I ask that you put a good spell on me CW.

If you search for 'Niles Canyon Ghost' you'll read about the story I talk about. When I read that I felt for her....I feel she's my ancestor lol. A torn wedding dress can be a sign of being lost in love.

I was engaged once before my husband. He cheated on me several times before the wedding and a month before the big day I walked in on him and his newest fling in his room. I ran like heck, met my hubby and when we tied the knot, we went down to the justice of the peace. No big wedding, no reception, it cost us $30 bucks and we've been married more than 20 years now.

And as for the old cursed fool I left, well, I took his credit card, paid for everything that we had to pay for for the wedding and left. That was terrific, it was a well deserved parting gift for him.
