I've been thinking of trying it, but I want to find out if anyone else has tried it. I tried Proactive but it really dried out my skin to the point where it was just painful. So I'd like to hear from anyone who has tried it. Thanks

I guess it justs depends on your skin type. Mine did the opposite. I found Proactiv works much better for me than skin id. I used skin id for a month and it dried my face out which made it really red and itchy and didn't clear my skin any better than it was before. So I returned my next months supply with no problem, although I had to call them because once you put your credit card on file there is no way to remove it and they will just keep sending it to you, I was not happy about that. Good Luck!

I haven't tried skin ID, but I have been using Proactiv for almost a year now. It works fairly well - my skin isn't completely clear, but it's much better than before. I use the topical lotion 2x daily and the mask on occasion (whever I get breakouts), which keeps dryness to a minimum that way. I use clean and clear acne face wash (if I remember correctly). One really important thing though: whatever you use, always buy from ebay - it's MUCH cheaper!

Yes ladies it does depend on the certain individuals skin conditions. Skin ID is basicly like an Aesthetician on the internet. but it does miss some major issues when it asks you to fill out the questionare. Which could result in the results being inncorrect for your skin type. Thus the reason it dried out some of your skin. Go to your local salon/spas and ask them to do a skin analysis or even a local beauty college/votech/ etc. Most Esthetic Instructors jump at a chance to use people as models. You could learn alot and it should be fairly inexpensive.
