Thank you so much for posting this. I am battling scars on my stomach and chest and have been looking for something that works. I have been using Retin-A-Micro for two weeks before I go to bed, but it doesn't seem to be doing much for me at the moment. Once I run out of it, I think I am going to try this bio oil that was described in the post above. Thanks again to the poster and to everyone who replied.
You may want to try using milk mixed with honey or almond oil as substitute for soap...work great for stretch marks... you may also want to try some milk lotion after bath...it will be great for your skin...
If we apply lavender oil on the marks, three times a day. It will be very helpful to reduce stretch marks; also aloe vera gel helps to reduce stretch marks. These are the easiest and simple remedy to remove stretch marks.
I do agree...Shea Butter coconut oil also works great for stretch marks...mine was lightened to almost nothing by using Shea Butter for almost 3 months after giving birth...![]()
I am sorry you are dealing with stretch marks, I have them too and I know it is no fun. I've been using this*edit* Bio-Oil and I like how my skin is softer. I wish you the best of luck!

I have had amazing results with Burt's Bees "Mama Bee" balm. It's pretty affordable, too. The Palmer's stretch mark lotion didn't work as well. I stopped using the Burt's Bees for a while to use the Palmer's, and the progress of fading the stretch marks dropped off significantly, so I started using the Burt's Bees again, and I noticed a difference.
Bio Oil or Rose Hip Oil is really good, helped with my stretch marks and complexion from acne scarring. Good luck
Try this simple regimen and im sure it'll really give you GREAT result:
COFFEE SCRUB:
Why It Works: Most pricey cellulite treatments use caffeine to promote circulation, deep-cleanse pores and act as a diuretic by removing excess water from your dermis. Our version uses the same stimulators — but with ingredients usually reserved for your morning cup of joe.
» You'll Need:
- 1 cup fresh-ground coffee
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
»Mix all the ingredients. Massage into thighs, butt and other areas prone to, sigh, the cottage cheese effect for five minutes in a circular motion.
Rinse when finished. Repeat three to five times per week.
I have tons and tons of stretch marks, most of them didn't bother me, but when I got out of high school I gained quite a bit of weight and I got them on my stomach, where I'd never had them before. I hate them with a passion, but I don't know what to do with them. I'm trying 100% cocoa butter(it's a solid stick), I just started applying it a day ago and I make sure to keep it lubbed up lol. It's 100% natural and I think that's why I'm so drawn to it, but it's also really cheap. Even says on the container that it's ideal for dry skin and stretch marks. So, we shall see.
