I’ve always thought that eczema can only be found on the foot. But I just had a checkup and found that the rashes I have on my hand is eczema. I was advised to keep it moisturized. I just want to ask what else you guys do to treat eczema to quickly get rid of it?

Hi lookingforlife.... well i remember at school a girl who had it on her face and hands, so it can spread anywhere.
I don't know of anything else as she still had it years later and probably still does, I sometimes get it on my fingers even though I wear real jewelry and all I can do is take them off and keep moisturizing... and it does go. I would say avoid soaps. Wear gloves when washing the dishes, those types of things to help. CW

Ok, first, keep your skin hydrated by using moisturizing creams for like 2 to 3 times a day. Then ask a dermatologist about elidel. This will help you for the itch attacks and to get rid of the eczema itself. Very much available on any pharmacy out there. Ask your derm about it. Hope this helps!

Eczema is an allergy related condition. Avoid anything scented, harsh chemicals, paints (especially spray paints) use only the tollene and formaldehyde free nail polishes. Avoid latex and adhesives.
Take sugar and refined flour products out of your diet. I had this and got rid of it but you have to vigilent about exposure to irritants. Stress can cause flare ups.
