I've had skin problems since I was about 13. I've been to derms i've tried all kinds of products but they all made my face sore and worse!!! About 9 months ago I started taking the nuvaring and in less than a month my acne was COMPLETELY gone. My face didn't even breakout when my period hit. (amazing)!! The nuvaring worked miracles for me. I didn't have to shave as often I lost some weight. My acne went away. But it did give me infections every other month so I had to stop using it and now all the bad stuff is back. My face is breaking out all over. I have to shave every morning. It's horrible.

I talked to my doctor about getting my hormones tested but she told me that wasn't the problem and she put me on another bc which isn't helping at all. My hair grows like crazy. I have to wax my lip and eyebrows like every 3 days. Does anyone kno what I could do about this? Is there anything I can take that would keep my hormones level normal?? Am I the only one with this problem

Oh and also I have stretch marks on my thighs and when i was on the nuvaring u could barely notice them but now they seem to b always red and blotchy.

I think you should talk to a different doctor and get another opinion about your hormone levels. The nuva ring was obviously helping some of your problems. Did she have advice about the infections?
