    Angry Pimples..!!

Gahh, I have had enough of pimples. I have tried ProActive, and I have been using it for about 9 months now. My skin cleared up, but I still seem to get the odd few. This past week has been really bad, and I'm starting to think it's because of stress, can this be possible? Any advice would be much appreciated!

My boyfriend uses proactive as well....it worked well in the beginning now he gets the odd few which i think is from stress.

So in my opinion i'd say you have 2 options
    1) find another cream/product that may work for you
    2) continue proactive but find a way to reduce stress

I've joined a gym and doing yoga classes once a week, it is really relaxing and helps relieve any stress. You can consider that or options like, taking a walk by yourself to just think, join a sport or activity.

If things dont clear up it could be hormonal. If proactive is working keep using it!

Yeah, I reckon it is stressed-related.
I think I need to start a sporting thing and take more time outside to relax.
Proactive works, but not as well as it should. So I will keep using it,so my skin doesn't get worse.

I think this is also caused by stress. People sometimes got pimples from stress. Another factor is that they are not sleeping early or not sleeping at the right bracket of time. There are many factors that we can encounter and get those unlikable pimples. All I can recommend to you is that you must always avoid stress. Another factor is the pollution. Skin absorbs much dirt when we are outside so always clean your face with the facial soap.

I make sure I wash my face 4 to 5 times a day.

I do agree with stress, I stress very easily and even over little things, I'm not sure how to avoid it. Anyone got a good way to avoid stress?

    Yoga!

Maybe try not wash your face so often, i know that might sound weird but i went from washing my face all the time (and getting pimples all the time) to not washing my face as often to having virtually nothing...worth a try i suppose

Do you have oily skin Nix?

I'm not sure if your allowing your skin to beathe, washing it every 2, 3hrs, definately stress creates pimples, as does not cleaning your face But, so does I believe, oily skin, In-adequate dietry, even when eating healthy, you can miss vitamins/minerals that your particular body needs.

You may want to see if you can afford to have one session with a nutrican....

For instance, lots of sweet things, fizzy drinks, potato chips, chocolate, over a month can contribute.

There's a variety of reasons other than just stress...

Having said that, it can be "not noticable stress", such as "putting an injury or a pain of any sorts, past problems with your physical self, not mental stress in other words, when our body suffers from something, it stresses and sub-consciously our mind reminds us as well, as saying pfttt and being tough, strong, it's a sub-conscious fear, thought, not one out-right, if that makes sense.

    (Edit, added)

So, there, you might be best to go back to yoga, or try meditation. It's the "pain in the neck this is" That's making you not want to go back to yoga. Just my thoughts.

I do have a very oily skin, which is why I tend to wash it so often.

It's a known fact that people with oily skin break out in pimples

A Dermatologisit would be able to give you some advice on the best creams to use, but T tree oil helps and Vitamin E has an anti inflamatory property that reduces redness of the skin, where the pimples erupt.

You may want to google "oily skin/pimples" and see if there is a cream you can use that's not costly, to help as well reduce the oil in your skin, therefore, your pimples breaking out..
