Little, I once had black-eyes from my older brother punching me (both eyes) and my eyes also had internal bleeding. I still see some floaters on one of my eyes, they look like colons (the punctuation mark). When I had the black-eyes, my doctor prescribed a hemorroid cream to reduce the swelling and remove the internal clotting. So far it worked...maybe it could also ease the dark under eye circles, as theoretically, it helps the circulation of blood if things get clogged....

dark circles are often caused by rubbing, insufficient sleep, allergies, dehydration, and aging.

sadly I suffer from all of those... Shift work = not enough sleep, I am aging, I am not allowed to drink while at work (unless on break, which can be few and far between) making me dehydrated... and well... allergies make my eyes itchy!

Well dark circles are probably here to stay for me!
