    Default Facial scrubs?

1.) What should I do about blackheads on my nose? Biore strips take off only about one or two if I am lucky. I have tried different scrubs but none really work. I was told to find a salicylic acid cream I can leave on for a bit *Removed outbound links*

    Also, benxoyl peroxide was recommended.

2.) Blackheads aside, what is a good facial scrub or cloth pads for before bed or to just freshen up? I don't have acne problems. But I know sulfates are bad for your face. *Removed outbound links*This one was recommended to me as a overall good cleanser (despite acne being in the name.)

Also, someone gave me the idea to use asprin to make a facial scrub.

If you don't have acne and just want to freshen up then try something mild. I think noxema makes a cream with little beads in it. I use body shop scrub with tea tree oil and it's worked great for me.

Facial scrub? would you mind trying olive oil + salt. massage it gently on your face...the salt will act as an exfoliant for dead skin and olive oil will moisturize your skin to the max...Im sure you'll have a great result... works for me

For black heads on your nose maybe try the things that stick to your nose and you leave there for about 15 minutes and then pull them off. I have tried these kind of products before and they seem to help remove all those little blackheads. I really don't kno what they are called but i know of a few different brands that make them.

    Default Facial scrubs

I use an exfoliator several times a week. As we age we do need to exfoliate more often then when we were in our 20's and 30's. I like to use a gentle rice bran polisher which I use for just 10 minutes. Afterwards my skin feels soft and smooth.

These are called Milia's. They are pearly white bumps that is a very common disorder and is a result of accumulated sebum and dead skin cells that have collected in small pockets and are trapped under the superficial layer of your skin. Many times after you exfoliate that dead layer of skin the little hard pearl just rolls out on your finger.

As an aesthetician, there is training for removal of milia. It is of the most benefit when the milia is extracted when it reaches the surface of the skin. Then the extraction is quick and easy for an aesthetician to perform. If one does not have the training for this type of extraction or if the milia has not reached the surface of the skin, this type of
"persuasion"/extraction can lead to possible damage and/or infection for the skin.

Use skin care products that are suited to oily skin.
