    Default Ruddy complexion

    Hi All,
I do need some advice. Moving to the sea side in the UK. What do I have to do to have it all: enjoying the walks, sea air etc. without ruining my skin colour. I, to skin cancer 10 years ago, don't do tan, so I strive to keep my complexion pale. is there anything else, apart from using SPF50, I could do to avoid going red in the face and neck? Thanks for reading this, Nefertiti

    pretty much that.
also i wouldnt worry much about the sun by the seaside in the uk.

    spf50 is great!
im allergic to most suncream so i find ones with zinc in them that work as a physical barrier the best.
also if you are talking more about rosacea type redness
mario badescu healing cream is great.
my friend with the oily/acne prone skin uses it to calm the redness of the spots
its not t-h-a-t expensive and it lasts for ages.

good luck with the move! x

I've been using mineral based make-up - it has natural SPF in it too, which is also great (especially on top of the SPF that you're using)... it not only covers the red, it actually sooths it, I've found.

Have a wonderful time on the seaside! Sounds awesome!
