    Red face *Scratch Scratch* :o

Yesterday I started itching. Mainly my head. No bumps or anything. Don't seem to be noticing any dandruff. Haven't switched any hair products. I did start taking a Super potency Biotin every day.

The optimistic side of me says "Hmm, maybe there's all kinds of little new hairs growing up there and THAT's whats causing it". haha.

Any ideas on what could be causing it and what i can do to help it? *scratch scratch*

I looked some of the side effects, and the itchy scratchy could be from new hairs growing!! Hooray!

They sell that topical scalp stuff at the drug store that's supposed to relieve itchy scalp - I don't know what it's called (scalpicin- or something) it's a liquid, that might help!

But it sounds like good news!

    Maybe. HMmmm. HOORAY!

Noooow, if I can train this biotin to promote hair growth ONLY on my head, then I'm on a roll!!

Could be the weather changing. Is the air drier than normal there?

You can always go safe, try rinse with a solution of vinegar and water, it should work

Could be the climate having an effect, whether that be dry, hot or humid. Could be a change in your PH balance... are you eating differently or taking any new medicines/vitamins?

My head itches like crazy after a work out (sweat), so maybe there is some added moisture in the air where you are thats making it itchy?

The itching totally went away after a short period of time. I'm really not sure what was up with it. Definitely could have been a ph imbalance. Weather or dryness I'd say not though as I had no flakiness or anything like that. I'm still inclined to believe it was new growth. I've been off BC now for almost 4 months and the changes are amazing, the changes in my hair are remarkable. Lack of synthetic hormones + biotin = new hair.
