    Default Acne really sucks....:(

I have tried EVERYTHING, hormone balancing pills, prescripition cream, non pescripition cream, face wash etc I *try* and eat well ;P I mean I eat quite well vegetable/fruit wise and drink a lot of water, the only thing I'm lacking is sleep because I have insomnia, but I wouldn't think that would make my face continually break out. Have you tried anything that works? At the moment I'm using this spot stuff from simple...seems like it would be worth a shot, but please any acne fighting remedies would be good! Thanks

Vitamins are considered to be extremely effective in getting acne off. In particular, the inclusion of niacin (Vitamin B3), vitamin A, and vitamin E in one’s diet can help in curing acne. These vitamins can be consumed orally in the form of supplements, or better still, in the form of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Fenugreek makes for an ideal overnight face-pack in the fight against pimples. Apply the paste at bedtime and leave it on over night; you can wash it off in the morning with warm water.

I used to suffer from frequent breakouts. I have large pores. Oh I hated it, talk about making you feel self conscious! I found that the more I did to my face, the worse it got. Soem people have sensitive skin, that even applying pressure to a certain area will cause a breakout. Of course, scrubbing my face 2-3 times a day with acne fighting (drying) cleansers wasn't helping. So I stopped. Now, I rarely have breakouts and when I do they are minor. Here's what I changed about my lifestyle:

    1. I shower once a day and very lightly wash my face in the shower. Then I use Clean and Clear "Morning Burst" to lightly wash my face before bed.

    2. I use Oil of Olay "Anti Aging" lotion with an SPF 15 every morning. I keep it in my refrigerator. Not only do I get a cool revitalized feeling every morning after a hot shower when I put on that cool lotion, but the coolness of the lotion actually closes my pores. That way when I put my makeup on, I'm putting it on closed pours, not hot steamy open ones ready to soak up whatever I put on them.

    3. I stopped using foundation totally. I keep a concealer stick handy for minor things, and other than that I use nothing but loose powder on my skin. (And of course my eye makeup).

    4. I threw away my compact. I was CONSTANTLY getting out my compact and blotting my face. The compact pad accumulates bacteria. ICK! So, the more I blotted, the more I broke out.

    5. Vitamins. Vitamin B's, E's, D's, Selenium, C's. Take a good multivitamin every single day.

    6. I gave up all meat but fish and occasionally chicken. Also, give up things you ingest that act as toxins in your body. Soda's, (whether diet or not) are a good example.

Be patient. And if you're like me, the LESS you doctor your face the better off you'll be. And you'll save money too.

Try Omorovicza mineral skin care products. It helped me with my acne problem. The facial wash that I'm using is gentle on the skin.

I've been using the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control facial scrub followed by the toner, then I use Clean and Clear Morning Glow moisturizer. For spot treatment, I use Clearasil Stayclear Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream. So far, it's working better than anything I've tried.

Welcome Moxiegal06... simple home remedies are much more effective and cost efficient. I love to share what i think works than recommend a product and keep a person unsatisfied.

Also when trying to help with outbreaks of acne, be sure to increase your intake of pure water. It helps flush out toxins in the body. Be sure to use only natural products. Since your skin is the largest organ of your body it quickly absorbs all you put on to it. Good luck.

    Try this:
    1. go to the drugstore, and ask for OXY 10 or 5. doesnt matter the brand, as long as u ask that you need smth that contains Benzoil Peroxyde in it. Buy it.
    2. Get a moisturizers as BP will make ur skin dry. But it works as well on pimples!
    3. No make up til ur pimples gone.

    It's all about fighting bacteria.
