I recommend two things to try. If you have any questions I say Proactiv acne. I use to use it and it did wonders for me. If you have sensitive skin try CERAV. It is a soap-free cleanser and restores moisture to the skin, many dermatologists recommend it. Hope this helps, good luck.

You can try this: along with aloe vera gel dissolve a couple of uncoated aspirins in a teaspoon of lukewarm water to form a paste. Applying this paste onto the affected skin and allowing it to settle of for about 10 or 15 minutes is very beneficial for the skin.
It is a good idea to consume foods with a high content of vitamin C; this will enable the skin to rejuvenate itself.

Mix uncooked oatmeal with Aloe Vera and massage similarly.leave it for 15 minutes and rinse it thoroughly. (dont try this when you ahve acne)

After washing your face with a gentle cleanser, moisturize with an avacado from the fridge. Just mash up of slice of it and leave it on until it dries. When you wash it off your face is sooooo smooth and glowing. Same with a banana. If you want a quick result too with something natural, moisturize with pure jojoba oil. I have the oiliest skin, but jojoba oil does not make me break out. I'm still tring to find a natural skin cleanser..

What if you are allergic to avocado?

For the love of all that is good and holy, NEVER use anything from an infomercial! Proative included >.> It's extremely drying and after a month or so you skin gets used to the over-bombardment of strong drugs in the line and you end up where you started (my sister and some of my friends went through this. Yuck).

I think the best thing to do is use Cor soap. That's all I use. I'm never going back to anything else... ever. Find somewhere that sells it or buy online. It's worth every penny. They have a "sample" or "travel" size that last "2 weeks" but if you treat it right it'll last about 3 months. Just don't go overboard with getting it wet and lathering. Just get your face and hands wet, put the soap in your hand and roll it over 2-3 times and put it back! Thats all you need! Then rub your hands together like crazy to make it foam up and rub all over. Wait a couple minutes and rinse. Tadah! Keep it in it's little baggie or place it in a covered soap dish to protect it from melting away in the shower.
    It has:
Nano silver - kills bacteria in and under skin (pimple causing bacteria, ewwww)
Marine collagen - plumps up the skin
Sericin - a soluble protein from silk that forms a film and helps protect from sun damage (NO, you still need to wear sunscreen!)
Chitosan - A natural fiber to even out skin tone and absorbs fat and oils so your face washes away squeaky clean

I love this stuff. Can you tell?
