    Default Belly button piercing?

I'm going to get my belly button pierced tomorrow, and I wanna know any tips on how to take care of it so it can heal up pretty fast, hopefully 4 months...Any advice?

You should be able to purchase a small bottle of drops from where you are getting it done for a few pounds. They help the piercing heal quicker and prevent infection. A friend of mine had hers done and used the drops and still got a nasty infection. It became crusty and leaked green and yellow fluid, even though she was using a 9ct gold belly bar. I decided against getting mine done after seeing hers. You should wear a gold belly bar until it is thoroughly healed, then you can change for stainless steel, provided you are not allergic. Also, avoid playing with it, such as twisting and pulling, that can make healing time longer.

Thanks...I heard that you have to twist it around to clean it...I don't know, do you know how true that is?

Your supposed to turn the bar around every so often so that your skin does not try to attach itself to it, but people seem to get the urge to twist the whole belly bar around so the ends almost swap places. You can also move the bar up and down in the hole.
