That looks pretty normal to me. When your body rejects a piercing, it gets rid of it. Simply put, it forces the piercing out of your skin by healing behind it.

The only other thing that your body will do in regards to partial 'rejecting' is an infection. It will not like the fact that there is suddenly a foreign object in an area that did not have anything there before. Simple salt washes and even a trip to the doctor can clear those up though.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
