I applied green tea bags right before going to sleep in bed for 15 minutes. It helped me greatly!

Wet tea bags and cucumbers are great. They will help reduce the darkness.

I feel your pain as I also suffer the dark under eye circles. I think mine is in the family though because my brother also has dark under eyes to. I hate them and am very self conscious.

A healthy diet like other posters said will also help a lot. Maybe see a dietrian because it may be something to do with the liver not functioning properly. All ideas are worth a shot and looking into.

I completely agree with that, stress is the ultimate cause for dark under eye circles. And also good sleep maters much. Proper medication is required to have sound sleep.

What?! Well, maybe, if you have a sleep disorder. But for most people, sleep is a matter of conditioning yourself and following your (healthy) sleep schedule as religiously possible. TVs and other electronic devices should not be used/placed in your bedroom as it interferes with your mind/conditioning for sleep. As for the dark undereye circles, I have the same problem. Sleep is the main thing that will help solve this and so does proper diet. I use olive oil in the evening to moisturize the area and so far, it is helping.

I learned about the lemon trick from a friend. The acid in lemon juice actually takes away dead skin and can help brighten skin tones. They're really good for dark circles under your eyes, but lemon juice in your eyes doesn't go well, so make it away from your eyes. When lemon juice is mixed with sugar into a rub, the sugar cleans your pores and the lemon clears the unwanted skin. Add some vaseline to cool it down and make it soft. Doing this every couple days makes your skin baby smooth. You can also have ice facial, that numb the face while you pop any pimples, so they don't inflame. And the lemon juice fades acne scars, too. And you can eat as much junk food as you want as long as you follow it with a facial.

Eating junk food is NEVER a good idea no matter what else you do. No part of the body is isolated, they are ALL interconnected. It really is true, you are what you eat and think.

Preparation H does work. I've also found out that there are tiny capillaries under your eye. When you put on your makeup or rub your eyes you tend to break these capillaries. So you're technically bruising under your eye. When you put on your concealer, I would recommend using your ring finger. It's the weakest of your fingers and less risk of breaking the capillaries.

I inherited the dark circles under my eyes. I place a moistened teabag on my dark spots, it tightens the skin and lightens the circles, it's only temporary but it does help some.
