i am 49 DWF and i had psoriasis since around 1986. I find it really keeps me from wanting to date, or even think about being sexual. also i am always looking for some tips on lotion as if when my psoriasis are pretty clear my skin is so dry. Psorasis really effect every part of your life. if you flack off. i hate going to other house it just uncomfotable feeling.. when i was married my ex was very cruel, as he didn't even want us touch when i was broke out. i have been pretty clear for a while till i had to wait for my medication be approved and had to do wih out for about a month. I also have the psoratic arthrtis.. thanks for reading, karen

I've read that pure fish derived collagen helps.

There are 3 general types of psoriasis, what type do you have, better yet, where does the psoriasis show? People that have psoriasis, my mom had it on her arms, should stay away from soaps that have any type of cream in them such a Dove.
Stress has a major part in attacks. Psoriasis is sometimes triggered when we are under stress, the medical community strongly believes that nerves and the nerve endings have a lot to do with outbreaks. Strong soaps tend to irritate the nerve endings. Obviously, alcohol and smoking don't help! Soaps are really the only outside agent that can trigger an attack. there are others, but these are the strongest ones.
