    Default Embarassing Acne, Advice?

Ok, I've had this issue for years. It's come and gone, come and gone, come and gone, come and gone, ... whatever. It's acne spots on my butt cheeks. They aren't like regular acne, more like the ones that get large and painful and then eventually go away. I've tried exfoliating, cleaning my toilet seat at least twice a week, using Dove Unscented Soap for Sensitive Skin .. and nothing! I've yet o speak to my doctor about it currently because right now I'm being treated for two other issues at the moment that are more severe. I wear cotton underwear.

I know it's usually from the heat because I'm in Florida, and it could be from the pads I wear while on my period, but I don't know... even when I'm not on my period and I wear just straight cotton underwear, they show up.

    Any advice?

I've had this problem very mildly before, but nevertheless it is embarrassing. You are right - this sort of acne is different from the acne you get everywhere else, but these days I swear by fresh lemon juice and rosewater. I've found it works on other parts of the body very well too, and, best of all, it's cheap and easy to get. Just mix equal parts lemon juice (squeezed from the lemon, not the stuff from concentrate) and rosewater (which you can find most places), and apply it like you would a toner.

It may sting/itch a little because of the lemon, but only for a couple of minutes. Works for me, anyway.

I these these red little spots (not sure if it's acne or what) and once in a while a get a pimple there... I heard that drying it really well after taking a shower and putting powder on it works..
I'm not sure why sometimes I have a lot and sometimes I don't.. I lived in a very cold counry once and I live in a very warm country now and I got them then, and I get them now.. If someone out there has a magic solutions, please shoutout!!! But ManINeedACoffee I'm definetely gonna try your solution. Another one would be to cut a cucmber in slices and just rubb them against the skin (buttocks). I've only tried that once but I heard it should work..

I never know why they show up, either, but I'm wondering if it has anything to do with sensitive skin and/or laundry detergents that cause irritation? Unless some of us just create a lot more "butt friction" for ourselves than others...
