Default Blind pimple mishap >.< Suggestions?

For about the last 3-4 days I have been dealing with a few blind pimples. I put a bunch of Neurtrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade gel on them, which it says is 2% Salicylic Acid. I have been doing my usual cleanse, tone, moisturize, once in the morning and once at night. I use an alcohol free toner, Olay moisturizer, and just finished up some Olay cleanser.

Anyway, none of this stuff has helped it at all and in fact, I developed even MORE blind pimples. Hooray. So now I have two huge ones on my forehead, and two huge ones on my chin, which are right next to eachother so it just looks like one big pimple, about the size of a quarter. My chin is so deformed.

Here comes the mishap. I was reading that I should use warm compresses to try and bring it to a head. I took a washcloth, but instead of using 'warm' water, I used 'hot' water over and over....smart, right? Somewhere it said to have it as hot as you can stand. Turns out, I ended up burning myself so not only do I have these enormous lumps, but now the entire surrounding area is one massive blob of red. Parts of it did seem to come to small heads, and I did try to squeeze those out, though very little white puss came out; it was mostly clear and a little blood, so I stopped.

What in the world can I do to not only get rid of the huge craters on my face, but to help the burn?! My crappy mineral make up does nothing to hide this and this 2-in-1 fight and fade gel doesn't do jack.

I have had issues with acne all my life and am now 22, so I don't know if it's time to go see a dermatologist or what. Help!

Do you drink soda by any chance? Do you eat a health diet or an unhealthy one? When I was in Highschool I used to go to town with soda pop like Pepsi and all those other lovely sugary drinks as well as eating junk like pizza and cheeseburgers (mostly because my metabolism was so fast that this kind of lifestyle didn't affect my body, however it did affect m face) and I used to have what I consider pretty horrible acne. I'd sometimes get one in the middle of my forehead or even between my eyes, a good bit of them on my chin as well so I can relate to the two merging pimples myself. Stress can also be a factor as to why your skin decides to gift you with such lovely decor. As to advice to get rid of your face-friends, I'd wash my face atleast 2 or 3 times daily to prevent my skin from getting to oily (Keep in mind that oil can come from your hair as well, so take good care of it too or try to keep it out of your face.) And if the products you are using now doesn't work well, try something else! My skin prefers St Ives apricot scrub. (I think thats the name, I don't HAVE to use it often so I don't recall the name very well) <3

As for a temp-simple fix. I read that you can take an icecube and place it in either a dry wash-cloth or a sandwich bag and rest it on the inflamed pimple and it'll cool it down so the red-ness should go away and the swelling of the area should diminish some. Be gentle on it or you'll irritate it again and it'll just flare back up.

I eat a very healthy diet and drink nothing but water. I switched products, but it's just hard to find something that works because I have very sensitive combination skin so anything I use usually dries me out really bad even though my skin is really oily in most spots or is way too harsh.

Anyway, I did end up putting ice on it and then I went out and bought some benzoyl peroxide cream which helped a bit with the redness and what not, but completely dried my skin out. Even still, the pimples have gone down now, but they are still very visible and are now purple-ish in color. I'm hoping that will eventually fade and not leave a scar. My skin has been flaking off majorly in the area where they are though even though I stopped using the cream. I've been moisturizing like crazy, but it doesn't seem to help. Guess it's a wait and see sort of thing.

Thanks for a response though. I know what not to do in the future.
