Smile A fast solution to age spots my doc swears by!

I have been reading up on what to do about age spots as I have some on my face and believe me they are not pretty! My doctor endorses the use of liquid nitrogen to burn the top few layers of skin where the age spot is. They initially turn dark brown but then fresh new skin will arrive shortly. It works and I have had it done before.

Read the rules. No links allowed.

Be very careful waht you read and 'trust' online. In this forum or any other. Liquid nitrogen on your face, really?

Done by a doctor, this might be an option. I've had a couple moles "frozen" off but this certainly shouldn't be just messed with at home.

Liquid nitrogen is a very common procedure for skin related matters, it is extremely quick and you can have a 10 second spray in a GP's office for a variety of things. Warts, spots, moles, skin tags all are treated with liquid nitrogen. The liquid nitrogen has nothing bad about it, people just get scared at the mention of something that has the name of a chemical compound. All it does is freeze the spot it is directed at, it is cold, it will sting for a second because of the cold, and then the frozen skin kills the wart, or the skin tag, or whatever spot it is aimed at. A real doctor should do it though, you can buy those OTC procedures but you will likely do it wrong and it will burn you.

For tags, moles, warts, etc. I get it, but for age spots?

Quick spray will freeze isolated portions of skin which will kill the cells causing some regeneration of skin cells not in age spot coloration, but when the spots are tiny it is pointless to freeze. It is also possible for the doctor to freeze the spot then carefully take a knife to cut out the frozen portion just as though it were a bit of a skin tag or wart, providing the spot is large enough. If someone is looking to get rid of a spot less than the size of a freckle they are wasting their time and money.

    Default anti-aging

If you're really interested in getting rid of age spots, try Maxalife anti-aging supplements. It works well because it uses New Zealand quality Omega 3 fish oil. It did a remarkable job on my skin.
