perfectskin,
I know you believe a product you've tried, is working extremely well for you.. You are allowed to mention the product, just not in the context that you previously wrote.
However, dehydrated skin, mainly is caused by in-sufficient water, our body is 90% or more, water so without sufficient water, we will have dehydrated skin. Smoking also affects the hydration...
I am not one whom believes in miracle creams but hey if there is one? Then I'd try it.
Dry is not greasy... I do believe that if the Europeans can eat Olive oil, be out in the sun so much and look 20 years younger when they are 60, something must be right. I use Olive oil in my cooking but I also rub some under my eyes and around my mouth and I swear that it absorbs, and smooths out any wrinkles to a degree, where just to addCucumber or Potato sliceds placed on the eyes does reduce puffy eyes as well in my opinion...
But water is definately the biggest key.

The lotions and creams don't completely sink in and they make my skin feel greasy all day long.
Alot of "junk" out there. It is meant to sink in... If it's thick IMO you can guarantee it won't sink in...

Drink lots of water, eat fruits and vegetables

For dry skin you have to eat fruits like things with Vitamin C and A . But if you are smoking then you should leave that.

Oil is *good* for your skin. Vitamin E oil by itself, in a very thin layer after your shower, will do wonders. You want to put just enough on to moisten the skin. If after 5-10 minutes you think you've got too much, just take a paper towel and blot off the extra. Usually as little as 1/4 tsp is enough though, just a small dot in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together to warm it, and then massage into your skin. I actually have a blend that sweet almond oil, vitamin E, a few drops of tea tree, jojoba oil, and I think walnut oil (and possibly others, it's been a while). Also, you can try making your own skin creams if you have the money too, using organic ingredients helps a lot, too. Also, as mentioned above, lots of water, good foods, etc.
