I have also tried many home treatments. Things seem to work for a bit and then it just somes back. What can I do?? Why all of a sudden do I have acne??

There are SOOOO many ways to get rid of acne, the problem is it's impossible to tell which one's will work for you. Most probably won't, but it's worth testing for a few days. Here's a few of my favorite.

    1. Eliminate dairy from your diet. This worked for me amazingly when I was in my late teens. I saw on a TV program that milk caused breakouts, so I cut it out for a while and my acne reduced. Coincidence? Perhaps, but worth a go.

    2. Zinc is reportedly fantastic for acne. Take a zinc supplement or get more zinc in your diet naturally. Foods such as nuts, wholegrains and figs are rich sources.

    3. Try a honey face mask. Honey has an antimicrobial action and helps to clear the skin.

I hope one of these ideas help and wish you luck.

I am not an authority on it but I can say that Acne is sometimes stress induced or due to an unhealthy liFestyle.

Acne on your chin/neck is almost always hormonal. It's quite common to get acne in your 20s and even 30s when you haven't had it before due to hormonal changes. Your hormones change every decade or so. You'll have to work with a dermatologist to see what will keep it under control for you. It depends on the type you have, but usually they'll give you some kind of anti-biotic cream such as a benzoyl peroxide, and a retinoid to keep the pores from getting clogged and keep the skin exfoliating properly. It's treatable, you just have to be patient and find the right products for you. Dermatologists are good at that nowadays. I only had to see one to get it under control.

Here are useful tip for acne care....

Wash your face twice a day (no more) with warm water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Gently massage your face with circular motions. Don't scrub. Overwashing and scrubbing can cause skin to become irritated. After cleansing, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends applying an over-the-counter (no prescription needed) lotion containing benzoyl peroxide. This will decrease oil and bacteria.

mickle_john, no offense but my friend told me that benzoyl peroxide is harsh for the skin. It might even cause breakouts for some people.

Proactive has worked great for me and many people I know. Also apple cider vinegar (start by diluting it 50% water and work ur way up if it's not irritating, I use it full strength) I use it as a toner and it's worked great! Over night I saw results.

Do we not realise that in order to find a soul
    It doesn't happen over night
