Default Small sections of dry flaking skin on face?

    Hi everyone,

For some reason, I seem to have small dry sections of skin on my face (mainly near my eyebrows) that get a bit itchy and are flaking.

    It looks and feels disgusting!

Any suggestions to what this is/how to get rid of it? Anyone had any similar problems?

Maybe you're allergic to the moisturizer or make up that you use? Maybe you need a milder facial cleanser. Or maybe you just need to find a moisturizer that moisurizes deeper. I get that sometimes when I use certain acne treatments. Dries my skin out making it very itchy. I usually apply lotion to it. I would stop using some of your products to see if anything changes. Could be an allergic reaction or something you just need to add to your daily routine!

me and my dad have had this problem. We both get flaky eyebrows and ears that is sometimes itchy and has red patches. I did some research and found its a form of Seborrhoeic dermatitis. I bought clinical strength head and shoulders shampoo(says on the bottle its used for Seborrhoeic dermatitis) and have been rubbing into the areas and leaving it there for a few minutes then washing it out. I also saw you can use a 1% Nizoral shampoo. I also read natural things like tea tree oil, avocado, or aloe vera help. I suggest doing a search for more info but i hope this is helpful

I have a similar issue of tiny flakes on and around my nose and in my eyebrow area. I tend to just not touch my face at all with anything because if I do, and wash it and treat it how I like, my face becomes extremely shiny and oily. My face will be fine at first, but as soon as I rub my nose or drag a nail anywhere near a trouble spot, the flakes spring up and refuse to leave. It's almost like my face is renewing faster than it can shed off the old layer. I don't really get pimples or anything often but the flake issue is never ending once I touch it. If you find a solution, please post it.

I did have the same problem, but mine was near my ears and eyebrow. I just put a little olive oil or sometimes leave on a drop of lemon juice, it went away in such a short time.
