Thread: Painful Dry Spot above my lips?

This is the second time this has happened, but I don't remember when the other one was.
On the right side of my lip, the very top of it hurts like I have a small scratch or something. The first time, I think I did have a small scratch, but I can't tell this time. It's red and kind of flaking, and it hurts if I open my mouth to wide or lick it. The first time I got it, I used Vasilne Lip Therapy and have been since. I couldn't find it one day so I had to buy another kind, but they didn't have it. I got Nivea Milk and Honey, and the spot appeared a little after I used it after a few days. I found my Vasilne again, and hopefully that will help.
Does anyone have an idea of what this might be?

Sounds like a little ulcer that is trying heal. Try some antibiotic ointment and see if that helps it.

Whatever you do, and whatever remedy you seek, try applying it at night just before you go to bed, that way it will have about eight hours to work uninterrupted.
