I also was able to get a prescription from my doctor probably 10 years ago, and although it burned my armpits when I put it on, it absolutely worked and cleared up the problem completely. I only needed to use it like once a month, and now I rarely need to use it. I still have what he gave me originally (so it's probably long expired), but it still works whenever I'm feeling sweaty (which is seriously like once a year at this point!). So - just go to your doctor and ask!

Did you try the Clinical Strength Degree or Secret anti-perspirants that are out there now? They cost a bit more than regular anti-perspirant but if they work then it would be worth the extra cost!

Best cure ever... You only need to use it about once a week.. its called "DRYSOL" very very strong.. only use it before bed as it will stain your clothing and DO NOT shave your armpits before you use it OUCH! read the directions.. but it is a miracle, and its only about $20 a bottle which should last just over a year.

Thumbs up Botox - Hallelujah

I was diagnosed with hyperhydrosis. I get botox injections and they work great. It's a little painful but well worth it.

I know that Drysol seems to work well for others.

Good luck.

Clinical Strength degree or secret...absolutely works.I had spent my whole life making clothes decisions based on not being able to see that the armpits were SATURATED! It is wonderful to be able now wear anything,Try the clinical strength definitely worth the price to not have this embarrassing problem

Hi. I use liquid aluminum chloride (30%), I buy it from my dermatologist. Actually it was only part or an underarm whitening/peeling set I used before. Since I will be peeling my skin, I need a mild and natural antiperspirant. I am done with the peeling and my UA is much lighter now, but I didnt stop using alum chloride because its the best! No sweat, no dark UA, no stains on my shirt.

Default Armpits Sweat & Smell can be eliminated.

Ayurveda defines sweat as a 'Mala' ( excretory product ) of 'Meda' ( fats ) Dhaatu (= constituent of one's body ).
The 7 Dhaatus constituting our body, in their proper order are - Rasa ( lymph ), Rakta ( blood ), Mamsa ( flesh ), Meda ( fats ), Asthi ( bones ), Majja ( bone marrow ) and Shukra ( reproductive bio-substances ).
Body sweat & smell can be gradually eliminated by specific Ayurvedic herbal scrubs ( = Udwartanam in Ayurvedic language ), depending on one's Prakruti.
For example, a Pitta predominant person will be benefitted by herbal scrubs acting against Pitta Dosha. Pitta sweat has a peculiar strong bilious note and is rather 'hot' and evapourative in nature. A Kapha predominant sweat will have a sort of cheese like smell or a peculiar 'sweet' but disgusting note in it. Kapha sweat is rather 'cold' and stagnant.
One's Prakruti is always some mixture or combination of Vata, Pitta and Kapha Doshas. So his/her sweatiness & smell of the sweat will depend upon proportions of these 3 Doshas, + his/her habbits regarding food, his/her general hyegine etc.
In my clinic, many patients come to me with complaints regarding their sweat & smelliness. I offer them suitable herbal scrubs and ask them to apply a soap-like herbal cake instead of their usual soap - while bathing. This treatment gives remarkable results in majority of cases.
The herbal cake ( similar to a soap ) also helps some patients for smoothing hair in their armpits. Continuous use of the cake may even eliminate axillary hair completely - without shaving, in some cases.
Ayurvedic sensual science defines armpits as 'Lotuses' in a feminine body. The principal Lotuses are : Sheersha ( vertex of head), Bhrumadhya ( mideyebrows ), Netra ( eyes ), Ostha ( lips ), Uroja ( breasts ), Naabhi ( navel ), Kukshi ( armpits ), Yoni ( vagina ) & Mooladhara ( anus ).
These Lotuses are associated with vital energies belonging to a Chakra influencing that Lotus.
Shaving your armpit may harm your Kukshi Lotus !
In some cases, homeopathic remedies such as Silica or Bach Flower Remedies combinations like Crab Apple + Gorse + Red Chestnut ( or other suitable combinations ) may also help.

The only area on my body that I have had a sweating issue has been under my arms. I discovered Certain Dri which is over the counter in the deodorant aisle. It's worked for me and I've used it for about 2 years now. What you do is put it on at night before bed every couple of days and then just put on deodorant in the morning as you would normally do. I haven't had any problems since. It's a lot cheaper than getting a prescription and it's not expensive either. I would try that before trying to get a prescription. If that Certain Di doesn't work, then you might need something stronger. I hope that helps! =)

hi everyone
well i have embarassing sweaty armpits , i wear black or white tops sometimes printed tops to hide it .well i look up for a antiperspirant and saw mitchum powergel , well that works pretty good for me I LOVE IT . But sadly the company change the ingredient ( alunminun zirconium) to aluminum sesquichlorohydrate which doesn't work good. so i brought the last four with the A/Z INGREDIENT in the pharmacy i usually go to. so after i use up the four its back to embarassing sweaty armpits for me .
