Make sure you don't wear polyester shirts ! You need to wear breathable fabrics to avoid a build up of perspiration.

Default Tom's of Maine

Okay, this reply is going to sound complete insane, so let me give some background.

Probably from around age 14 to the present (age 20), I was on prescription antiperspirant. Then I would put on baking soda every day to absorb any odour. The prescription was really not enough, but at least it made my sweating better. Before, sweat would drench a side of my shirt, whether I was hot or cold, nervous or calm.

Lately I've been trying to switch to natural bathroom products. I've used Tom's of Maine toothpaste for a while, and then I saw that they have deodorant. I figured it wouldn't work, but I gave it a go, anyway. I stopped using my prescription stuff. Now I don't have a sweating problem AT ALL. I get the apricot-scented stuff. You can get it at Walmart in the deodorant aisle. You'll have to look in the men's section.

I figure (and I'm an English major, not a scientist by any means) that sweating is, among other things, a way to get rid of toxins. Perhaps my body was reacting to the aluminum & various other nasty stuff in antiperspirant and working in overdrive to flush that out.

My dad has had lifelong sweating problems, to the point that his bedroom sort of smells like sweat. I told him about my discovery, and he tried it, very skeptically. Now he's hooked.

If it can work for my family, I'm sure it can work for most anyone. It's worth a shot, anyway! And it's much cheaper than botox or a prescription.
