I'm not sure about creams to get rid of them but to conceal them you can get either a lilac concealer or a light reflecting concealer (touche eclat by YSL for example) and dab a little of that under your eyes then apply either a powder, foundation or a skin colour concealer over the top. The important thing is to dab a tiny bit of each, you can always add more but taking too much off can drag the skin and make the dark circles look worse.

Puffy eyes i can relate to sometimes, and an old age trick, which i have tried and succeeded with is potatoes... I think it's the starch in it but it tightens up the skin, you can actually feel it. Just cut a slice and close your eyes with the slices on your eyelids.

Sometimes we feel we get enough sleep as well but if our mind is 24/7 that's a lot of energy you expelled the day before and "enough sleep" can not be enough sometimes. If you are proned to be a "thinker" learn to relax your mind more before you sleep and always go to bed thinking of something nice, so you drift of not thinking about your work, or sport, children etc...

I also often place olive oil under my eyes, if it helps the Europeans by eating it, well...lol... Actually, i truly only have laughing lines, so maybe it does help.......

I have tried all sorts of creams as a " not getting old let's see" can't say any of them did much...

So they are my little alternatives that seem to work for me.

    Default dark circles

could be hereditary, could be vascular, could be all sorts of things. We sell an eycream that claims to help or eliminate under eye darkness and puffyness, we just started carrying this line so I have not had any before or after patients yet, but I do have someone who is about to use it, so I can report back once we see if it works.

There may be a few problems. First of all, maybe you are not sleeping enough which will eventually cause dark circles and bags. If this is or is not the case, either way, you can start using some sort of eye cream or gel twice a day. Anyway at your age you should start using preventive creams, etc. I know that Origins is supposed to have a good under the eye product.

Just a question... does putting cucumber slices help in getting rid of the dark circles? A friend of mine told me that and I'd still have to try it. Looks weird... (or is it me?)

Mix one tsp Cucumber juice with equal part of potato juice, spinach juice, aloe vera gel and one sea kelp powder and apply. Rinse off after ten minutes. This recipe lightens dark circles and reduce puffiness.

Dark circles and puffiness caused by sinusitis? I have had chronic sinusitis all of my life and have always had dark(purplish) circles under my eyes. My mother has them too as does my son. Is it sinusitis the culprit? I'd love to know how to get rid of them because they never seem to go away and get worse when my sinuses are bothering me.

I know that for sinus relief lymphatic drainage is very helpful. Find an esthetician who is trained to do this and also you can try Peter Thomas Roth's Power K Eye Rescue
