Default vitamin e for the skin

i've heard that the oil from the vitamin e helps reduce scars and stretchmarks do that really work ?? my mother in law told me its also good when u put it on your face. i'm talking about using the oil from the vitamin itself, but has anyone ever tried it before?

my doctor told me when i had surgery on my finger to break open a capsule and rub it on the scar. so i would think it is true.

Does anybody know what remove stretch marks and if vitamin E work and how long does it take because I've been using them after a shower for 1 week know with cocoa butter.

The vitamin E and cocoa butter will smoothe the marks/stretchmarks but will NOT remove them completely.
