    Default The everlasting spot....

    Hello all,

So, I'm pretty used to spots, and looking after my skin - I've had acne since I was 14, and I'm 23 now... Basically, I have this one spot, which went through it's little life cycle absolutely ages ago, like a year or two. It left this slight area of reddened skin - although it's not still a spot, as there is no substance at all to it.

It's really not a big deal, but me leaving it to disappear on its own hasn't really accomplished anything. Have any of you experienced something like this? Any advice?

It sounds like one of two things: either the spot was not completly cleaned out and is still exists under the skin or it could be a scar.
Either way I think you should go to a skin doctor or facialist. They can figure out the problem and maybe give you products to clear it up or fade the scar.

My friend had cystic acne and some would leave a reddened dot where the spot had been, even though some of them never even came to a head. I think its a scar. A laser zap will get rid of it at the derms' office.
