Baout acnes - its funny but i got a few on my back and on my face because of the hormones medication i was put on an year back for irregular periods - i used too many things for my face - finally they have cleared up from my face - but whenevr i am chumming one or two spring up - no other in my family had this problem so its kind of sad -but not to forget about my back - on my upper back there are still these marks because of which i am scared to wear a deep back or a halter . i keep my hair open whenever i wear those stuff- no medication is working on my back- any stuff to remove the spots quick and fast and that too old ones like an year old

    Default same here

I have had acne for a long time now... it started i think when i was about 14. When it started it was not just a little bit of acne either it was full blown ACNE. I had to deal w/ ,like everyone else, trying every cream in the world.. dermatologist reccomended and all.. i even tried proactive which didnt work for me at all........I am 21 years old now and still dealing w/ it .. of course not as horrible as when i was younger but to the point where i just dont feel comfortable.. I am very self conscious about it .. and like one of the women said.. my best treatment so far is just water and not using any harsh chemical so often.. but i would like to try those spa facials.. how much do those usually run?

I tried everything also! The treatments a dermatologist reccomended made my acne worse. Im now using Proactive and my skin looks the same as it did 3 months ago. The worse part is that its on my back, and chest also so I need a overall treatment.

Default About Acne/helping to restore skin

I've been using Proactive since 2002 and it's helped immensely. As for the dryness I recommend Fruit of the Earth's skin cooling aloe vera-inexpensive and can be combined with Proactive's daily regimen. I also recommend "Angel on a Mission Gel" by hopeskincare.com. Type in key words in the search catalogue. This has helped greatly in the T.Zone area and those stubborn ones along the chin line. It's a gel that you can apply all over or just on the spot. It reduces the redness over night. Alternative solution is taking fresh squeezed lemon onto a cotton pad and apply it directly over the skin. The key here is not to rub all over the face though you could once you get used to the stinging effect but I like to be subtle about it. It has helped me with those tiny acne bumps I accumalate at times on my forehead. Lemon is a natural exfoliant Don't forget your SPF. I also recommend not to rub so hard on the face during washing-some washclothes are simply not compatible with the skin. I just wash twice if I need a thorough cleaning. Plus, you're stripping away the natural oils on your face and causing dryness. Also, during the day keep your hands away from your face and wash your hands on a regular basis. Think about all the things you've touched throughout the day and then touch your face. ! Try sleeping on your back because sleeping on the face blocks any oxygen that is needed for your pores to breath. And change your pillow case often. And I'm sure everyone has heard this but good nutrition does wonders for the skin-skin rejuvenates itself all the time...skin products is a temporary solution. It's sounds cliche but you are what you eat . I hope this helps!

The only time I've been able to completely clear my face was when I was consistently using Clearisil Black head cleansing face pads. And not the kind they have out now in the pretty purple and white container, but the really nasty smelling chemical ones in the white and blue container. The ones that if you get to close to your lips and taste it...makes you gag. Other than that, washes and lotions and cleaning scrubs have never worked on me.
