What to do w/ Acne
NOTHING AT ALL!!
While I was in high school, I used to have some bad acne situations, eek. I was very active in high school, and was on the volleyball team. That's really where it all would come from. From all the sweating and such.
I was trying everythning, all the acne products on all of Walgreen's shelf. Nothing had seemed to work--no matter what I did. Eventually it made me get frustrated to the point where I didn't wanna bother with it anymore.
That's when everything finally took a change for the good!! By leaving my face alone--no more Walgreens products--no more washing my face 8554329 times a day--It finally had cleared up!!!
If you have tried everything--and still not getting any success--Try doing what I did--NOTHING AT ALL!!!!

getting rid of acne
In the past, I tried Proactiv! It really does work! However, I found that it made my skin kind of dry! Now, that I am older, all I use is a little makeup remover and face lotion! However, for teenagers or anyone else who may have bad acne, Proactiv is definately worth a try!

using proactive is really good and it really does work but the best thing to do if u dont want to use any medication is keep urself hydrated! drinking alot of water is the best thing to do and using a good face lotion....like oil of olay hydrating cream ......it doesnt dry out your face nor does it cause it to become oily

acne
im not a great fan of the proactiv stuff. It had dried up my face once before while I was using it. I guess if Jessica Simpson says it works--it must work, but personally im not a big fan of medication for acne.

I have been using a product called Acne-Free, which I got at walmart for $18.00. It has the exact ingredients as Pro-Activ for much less $$. I absoblutely LOVE it.
I am 36 and started to get acne along my jaw and chin and it has cleared up completely. I havent had a breakout since, even at "that" time of the month. I will never go without it!!!

Dermalogica is my savior!!!
Okay Okay ladies.... here?s a great story.
When I was a teenager (I am 28), I never had one single pimple. I was on the pill for irregular periods. Once I got off the pill 5 years ago, my skin thinks I am 12. I have tried EVERYTHING!!! I tried proactive, I liked it at first, but after a few months it wasn't doing it for me. So I tried Neutrogena...again, worked for a while, but then stopped. I tried facials and even dermatologist recommended stuff...nothing worked.
So I started going to this new spa about a month ago. The facial lady was so great. She recommended Dermalogica. It is wonderful. I have only been using it less than a month and my skin has never looked so great. Pimples come from oil build-ups in your pores, and this stuff attacks the oil deep inside and kills the bad bacteria. I am telling you, this stuff is amazing. It's a bit costly, but worth every penny!!!!

I tried proactive for a year and a half, my face was still oily and i still had acne. Here lately i used aveeno skin clearing. It has worked for me. Nothing else over the shelf has really worked... i go to the doctor in a few days to see what I could do, since the aveeno seems to not help like i want to, but it is an improvement.

Proactic worked really well for me. i just needed to keep using it. I dont have bad acne but proactiv helped me out. I started using Proactiv before all of these stars started being on the proactiv advertisments. But other than that it works differently for everyone...my friend tried it but it didn't work for her. All u can do is try it out.

I've used Neutrogena, Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear, Noxema etc. Then I tried a combination of cleansing pads and lotion that was prescribed by my doc. That worked and then I went on the BCP and it cleared up my skin. I'm thinking of trying Proactiv to see if it keeps my face clear, it's not so much pimples now but I want to get rid of blackheads.
