I have the same problem.

I found a great tool to use but I don't think I can post it here. Its shaped like an egg! It worked so good. It sloughs(sp) off all the thick, dry stuff. After that I apply cocoa butter or bag balm and put socks on.

It really has made a difference. I would get cracking on my heels, big toes and pad of my foot that would actually bleed.

Good luck, I know it hurts.

Try Allpresan #3Xtra for cracked heels. Works like a dream and leaves no sticky film.

I read a suggestion just the other day about how to get smoother feet. They suggested that when you go to bed at night cover your feet lightly with Vaseline Petroleum Jelly and wear socks. It was claimed to work just as well as a pedicure.

I haven't tried it yet so I can't say if it works or not. But I guess it would be worth a try and cheap at that.

The Vaseline then socks trick Fallen posted works awesome...I have really dry cracked feet during the winter months that sometimes bleed and Vaseline and socks before bed works wonders in even a couple days. The more the better too, don't be shy it feels kinda gross at first but it's worth what it does. A pumice stone works good too but only after the cracks heal.

ive got horrible horrible cracked skin problem! so bad that it would start peeling off and bleeds sometimes too. Its nto just at the heel its up at the sole of the feet too! It hurts so so bad!!!

A friend suggested I soak them for like 15 minutes and use "BLUE GOO CRACKED HEEL SKIN SOFTENER" its like an emu oil thing. i used it once. I never have patience for anything. After you put that on u gotta wear your socks to sleep. So its to be done twice a day, morning and before bed time.

I'm actully gonna restart trying this out.

If anyone has any other suggestions I'm more then open to them. Thanks.
