BIG dandruff problems. Help!
Hi. For the past several years I have had a dandruff problem. It has only gotten worse recently. My head intches all the time. There is tons of dandruff everywhere. I have tried t-gel, head and shoulders, selsun blue, tea tree oil shampoo....everything!!!! Nothing works. Any advice????

My husband had this same problem. He used all the OTC brands and was still having problems. I introduced him to this shampoo and hair and scalp revitializer and things are much improved.

Hey tht looks like a big problem- but to be honest treating all this dandruff stuff with chemicals might as well bring undesirable effects. have you ever really tried on some home made stuff. well no preparation required for it - just try putting on some yogurt onto your scalp once a week - your whole scalp should be covered - for hair its a good conditioner. it refines out the dead skin on your scalp - leave it on for like 20 -25 minutes- wash off and use a mild shampoo . also kepp all the hair oils away from your dressing table - and forget head & shoulders for good- its too strong for any hair type. for dandruff you should wash your hair daily with a mild shampoo- less of detergent. also apart from tht you can sometimes use raw egg onto your scalp- remove the yellow - well its gonna stink but it does helpa lot - forget hair colouring , blow drying and all for atleast a month and a half - u will see the results in a few days - contact me if when you get rid of this stuff
I bought a bottle of tea tree oil last week, to treat skin problems, and on the bottle it said it also helped against dandruff. You should mix a few drops of it into your shampoo, I don't really know how much though.. maybe google will help?
do you use head and shouders shampoo?
if so then don`t coz it takes a layer of skin off when you use it
Go to your Local Dermatologist and have him see how your scalp is looking. I went to the Dermatologist because I use to have Seriacis my hair came out and then I went to a Dermatologist and got some Shampoo and it started growing back. Head and Shoulders is a good brand
Why don't you try applying a tablespoon of lime juice while washing the hair, it's a very useful remedy. It not only removes the stickiness and prevents dandruff but also leaves your hair glowing.Originally Posted by imported_enigmaticalfae

If nothing suggested helps have you considered seeing a dermatologist? You could have psoriasis instead of dandruff. Psoriasis is like dandruff, only it's much more severe. It can also appear on any part of your body, not just your head. Do you have any itchy red spots anywhere besides your head?
Try apple cider vinegar - it cleans your hair and removes the dandruff as well. Try it and see. Probably works after several applications over a few weeks.

I've had big dandruff problems too...like big flakes...I tried all the shampoos but nothing seemed to work. Recently I started going gray and decided to dye my hair with henna, it's a natural hair dying product...and now my dandruff is gone...you should try it.
