Back in June, I got an industrial piercing and it was fine for about two weeks. Then, I got this bump around the top of my piercing that went all the way around. I kept telling my family that it was a keloid, but no one listened to me. I went to the doctor and he said it was, but he's giving my piercing a chance by giving me ointment and stuff.

If there any hope for my piercing?

Hi Ravsoma, there are effective home remedies available to help treat keloids. However, often newer keloids are easier to treat while the older ones may take slightly longer. Applying apple cider vinegar on the keloids is one of the easiest remedies. If you find the treatment very painful, you can dilute the vinegar with some water and then apply on the affected area.
