Cool Need a dry mouth

Ok weird problem here! I have to see the dentist as i need a checkup. the only thing i hate about the dentist is the way the saliva, pools at the back of your throat, i start to gag and choke - its horrible. i used to take atrobel forte which is a cure for stomuch ache, that really drys out your mouth. but unfortunately they seem to have stopped making it. does any one know an over the counter medication that has this as a side effect? or causes this. surely i cant be the only freak that worries about this!!!

lol..

I can only suggest you "ask" the Chemist...

And, state your not a freak.

And, the only reason I am even replying is because, yesterday I went and had two teeth filled, AND one pulled out, and I cried.. Me? lol... think it was the loss of another tooth actually that did it.. heriditory carp...

But, i took a Mersendol - avail over the counter and didn't have the saliva problem.

OUCH!! poor CW! please no horror stories before my dental visit. i know you can get atropine on perscription to dry out your mouth, but it seems like a major hassle, i will try asking the local chemist i guess. (ps if im not a freak can i be a bit freaky???)
