Unhappy Damaged from soda.. is it too late?

So i've always been warned about drinking too many fizzy drinks and what it would do to my teeth but never really paid attention to it,
but on my last trip to the dentist he pointed out a few tiny little holes in my teeth and a gap starting between my two front teeth,
well not I am completely off the soda, he also recommended using fluoride toothpaste which I've started using religiously, so hopefully no more will appear
however is there ANYTHING i can do to get rid of the holes that have already appeared? I cant look in the mirror without seeing them and it makes me ashamed to open my mouth to smile or talk to people..

Nope. Once the enamel is gone it is not coming back. It is the protective layer over your teeth that is eroded by the acid in the sodas. The fluoride can help at least maintain the teeth you have now and protect what enamel you have left but yeah once that enamel is gone there is nothing that can be done to restore it.

Since you are not completely off the soda I would recommend drinking it through a straw. This way it's not coming in contact with your teeth nearlyyyy as much as it would be just drinking it out of a can, bottle, cup, etc.

Is that true? drinking soda is that bad for our teeth? well this is the first time I heard of that and I am shocked because I also love soda but since it is bad for my tooth I think I need to lessen that soda. Very informative!!!
