I think going for 25 min on the treadmill is awesome. And I'm amazed at turning down the Twix - I find I have no will power when it comes to chocolate.
I went for a walk today for only about 20 min in our hilly neighborhood and these hills were kicking my butt! But whew, I am glad I did it.
One of my goals for this week is to drink 8 glasses of water a day. (Generally I prefer sweet tea, soda, or lemonade)
The other is to do something active for at least half an hour.

Water, we just don't drink enough of .. Good for you, they say to sip it not gulp it down to make 1 down 7 to go, lol..

20 minutes? well most only last 10 for the first time, or even first week, so way to go.

Even bending and planting a few plants, is excercise..

I am walking the dogs every day as planned, must drink more water, off I go to get a glass right now... thanks for reminding me.

I've been on the trying to lose weight train for 17 years now. I have fianlly started losing. It is so very, very hard, and when you have depression, as I do, it is even harder. JerseyJill, I sent you a friend request...I'm here!!!!

So how is everyone going?

I have lost 1 kilo and still working on the other few i want to lose... I have watched my food intake, the meat mainly, it was winter here and that's the thing, you get into the hot food big time... So, I've been doing the tuna salad ahhh, and yogurt instead of my favourite 2 eggs, toast with loads of butter, and it's working.
