Back in April I was overweight. At that point I said NO WAY. I had to do something about it. Some of my co-workers were going to this weight loss dr. To make the story short I also went to this dr. I had to take pills and get shots. Plus eating right. I am a junk food and fast food and CHOCOLATE freak. I lost some weight pretty fast. I have always been the kind of person to loose weight fast. Anyways when my pills finished I didn't go back with him. I didn't really like the idea of taking pills and getting shots. So after a while I started eating what I use to. I saw that I wasn't gaining any weight. Well I did gain about the same weight that I lost. I know I should eat better but it's so hard for me. Not to mention that where I work I am surrounded by fast food places. I leave about 15 mins from my house and I only have an hour to eat. Another thing is that I don't really like to cook. I will do simple things: soups, sloppy joes, chicken, eggs, tuna sandwiches, etc. Nothing extravagant. I want to go back to eating right and exercising. This time without the pills and shots.
Does anyone have suggestions on nutritious foods I can make at home? Something fast and simple. Thank you in advanced

Hi i used to be like that loose weight fast then when i stopped i'd put it all back but you just need to eat the right healthy foods and drink plenty of water and execrise more you can still treat yourself once a week.
we need to burn the fat thats my prob just need will power to get up and take a walk..lol i saw this on tv dunno if its true. but here goes its called Body Sculpting Program they say you eat more and less execrise and that the people have lost alot of weight and get the body shape how they want it to be....they have dvd's recipe's and a thing to see what weight you are and height then you turn it around and tell's ya how your body supposed to be like...here's the web ite....www.danoz.com.au you can buy it from that shop or from the states cos this program is from the states. good luck....Lilly

Well, I don't know how great my suggestions will be for you since I also am struggling to get on an exercise plan.
My problem is two-fold. First, I can't buy high calorie/fattening items because I just can't portion control, I just can't. It may be sad, but it's true. So, I am acknowledging it. Second, I have trouble finding time to exercise except for squeezing in walks with my young active golden retriever. But, those walks don't seem to be the best exercise for me because he's learning to heel and I'm too concentrated on my training him. So, I've decided to get my exercise in as soon as I get home. I've just started back up today and joined this forum in hopes of getting additional support. Maybe we can all help each other! Christi |
