Kids will do that to you!

What kind of goals are you hoping to reach in what timeframe? Is it just weight loss or are you wanting to gain strength and flexibility?

I'm not sure how much I can really do from just being online but I'll be more than happy to help!

I tell people this all the time but seriously it works! Try going vegan or maybe vegitarian first, then vegan. You see going vegan you eliminate the foods that cause you to keep that weight- you don't eat milk chocolate (and fake chocolate is DANK and much better for you anyway) and you don't eat fast food bc even french fries are fried with the chicken patties etc. you don't eat ice cream...

it sounds scary but seriously after the first week you get used to it. Plus you feel so full of energy bc the foods you are eating are natural and less processed. Also you'll feel good about yourself going to the organic food store and buying vegitarian/vegan foods. Give it a shot- what will it hurt?

Tannerjs mommy,
i am on board with you...I also weigh 193 but my goal is closer to a healthy 145. I am 5'7 so that shpould do it for me. I am going to concentrate on sizes and measurements though...the scale can fool you.
When I was doing P90X (which is fantastic!) I gained weight but was losing inches, then the weight began falling off. I didn't stick with it when I went on vacation and gained everything back and then some.

We can motivate eachother to be healthier for our kids, and ourselves!

Howdy!

Maybe I should wait until Jan. 1st to post Ha Ha! I am also needing to lose weight! I have always been about 120. Over the past 4 years however, I have climbed to 160--YUK! I also have PCOS, so I am struggling to improve my diet (low sugar, low carb!). I would also like to have some weight loss "buddies" to share what works, what doesn't etc...

Love to hear from some of you soon!

Been there done that going to do it again The low carb no sugar deal works for me and walking on the trademill for least 15-20 mins 3 times a week. Haven't done anything for a while and I feel it in my thighs and belly. Going to wait til Jan 1 and start over again. Trying to get off about 5-10lbs. Good luck to ya !
