Red face Looking for support.

I am a full time college student with a full time job. I am 19 years old and unhappy with my health. I have decided to take advantage of the new year and set some resolutions or goals. In recent years, my mother has been an inspiration to me in her 100lb weight loss. I am 250lbs and wish to be 100lbs lighter. I know this will take time, hard work, perserverance, personal drive and support. So I am asking anyone who is willing to be a buddy to reply to me. I have moved away from my mother and with my busy schedule figured this website would be perfect. As a student, my lap top is always in my bag. I am not necessarily looking for someone my age or in any similiar situation. I would be more than thrilled to cheer on anyone else and work as a team to defeat this challenge.

Is there anyone out there?

I'm here and so are a lot of others. Holidays people are sporatic at posting. You are right this will take time, you didn't get this weight quickly and changing the habit that got you there takes effort - you can do it!

Count me in. What do you need from us?

It may help you to line out your short and long term goals in a separate thread and we can keep you motivated from there. You could have weekly or even daily check ins on your activity and diet too. That may help keep you on track. I've started a training log on another site I post on for boxing and it's really helped me stay on track because I don't want the other posters to see that I haven't done anything for a few days when they've all been busting their humps. So it's a big motivator for me.

Thank you for the replies! If possible I am looking for somewhat of a buddy system, one which we correspond via emails. I am unsure if this site is set up to do that still;I only registered last night. I know there is a website where you can punch in your age, height and weight and it helps produce a healthy diet to loose weight. Does anyone know the address?

I do not have any idea about the website but i have a natural solution for loosing weight. Drink hot water with immediate effect after having your breakfast, lunch and dinner and also try to drink lots of lots of water. Once you become thin I would assure you that you would be very beautiful and to look more beautiful apply gel nails on your fingers
