Well do some research on this OTYA you find some surprises on several levels. The artificial sweeteners are iffy at best. One thing there use does is help maintain a craving from sweets. People who use them lose less weight than those who don't. In individuals who are sensitive they can cause a variety of problems including symptoms that mimic lupus. These products came out of a WW11 biological weapons research lab, they were looking for ways to undermine the enemy's health then someone got he bright idea that they could make money...
Rather like olestra, better to simply avoid than use fake.

I agree, I've seen the studies, but my theory is pretty much everything these days is deemed to be bad for you.

If I eliminated everything in my life that was deemed bad for me, I wouldn't talk on my cell phone, I wouldn't do certain exercises, I would have to stop eating, etc. I figure, what the hay, my two packets of Crystal Light a day is not going to do any worse than everything else.

There is so much propaganda regarding everything these days, it is hard to get an unbiased opinion on anything. A lot of these studies are paid for by certain groups who want certain outcomes, in my opinion.

Agreed, that is DEFINITELY accurate in most cases...

Actually the artificial sweeteners cause the test groups to crave the real stuff. Thats why they lose less weight.

My point being, in the quest for fat loss,
bad = causes fat gain
good = promotes fat loss.

Insignificant caveats about what is "healthy" for you and what isn't are futile. If people are looking to lose fat because they have an unhealthy lifestyle, they really have no business nit picking a solution by providing the excuse that the food/substance in question isn't "healthy" for them. Because that's what it is - an excuse. Even though White Castle burgers may give people horrendous gas or indigestion, they will still eat it.

I've been taking Relicore for the past 2 months to help lose some of it and just started taking Zylotrim. Also started taking B-12 vitamins {1000 mcg once a day} a week ago hoping I'd get more energy so I'll feel like getting up in the morning and exercise. No luck as of yet.

Anyone know of a good OTC {over-the-counter} suppliment that really helps with boosting energy and mood?
I'll stop taking the Relicore and Zylotrim if I can find something that will get me going. I know I can lose the wieght and get in shape if I can get more energy.
Thanks, Jeana.

I"m 29 and have always had a problem with my weight. A few of my friends and I decided that enough was enough for '09. We started taking this stuff called Ultra Body Cleanse first (and it lives up to it's name) and it really works. I've been a sucker for a good commercial before, that's for sure. After us girls took the body cleanse, we all dedicated ourselves to taking this juice called levive a natural energizer called enerlife and this stuff called coral calcium liquid. This stuff is the only stuff I have found that actually works. I'm no longer embarrassed to say I weighed 150. Because now I weigh 135
lbs! We have now incorporated using this girdle thingy we found on the site too. With our nutritonal stuff. All I can say this site and their products were a god sent to all of us girls!

An energy drink would do fine just don't overindulge. Moderation is the key.
