I'll be 41
on Feb. 7th, I'm 5'5" and wiegh about 140 lbs. I'm wanting to get down to 125/130 lbs but have been lazy and haven't worked out in a few months. I've been taking Relicore for the past 2 months to help lose some of it and just started taking Zylotrim. Also started taking B-12 vitamins {1000 mcg once a day} a week ago hoping I'd get more energy so I'll feel like getting up in the morning and exercise. No luck as of yet.Anyone know of a good OTC {over-the-counter} suppliment that really helps with boosting energy and mood? I'll stop taking the Relicore and Zylotrim if I can find something that will get me going. I know I can lose the wieght and get in shape if I can get more energy. Thanks, Jeana.

coffee works for me
Sometimes when I'm feeling sluggish and I'm heading to the gym I'll drink an Emergen-C powdered vitamin. Those really pep me up.

I like coffee but for the past year or so it just makes me to jittery and hasn't settled well in my stomach. Kind of gives me indigestion or heart burn. I believe I'm going through pre-menapause which I'm wondering if that has anything to do with my different reaction towards coffee.
I'll look into Emergen-C. Thanks, Jeana. |

Try green tea as well. Yerba Mate tea is a great pick me up without the jittery side effects.

I just bought the Emergen-C Rasberry flavor and today is my first day to take it. It's kind of nasty. Taste like seltzer water and Alkaseltzer {sp?}. It says to take 2 to 4 a day so I figure I'll start with 2 a day.
How long til I notice if it's giving me more energy? I've also been taking vitamin B-12 1,000 mg in tablet form once a day for about a week or two. Is 1,000 mg enough if I'm trying to boost my energy up? Specially since I've started the Emergen-C? I also take Centrum Silver once a day. Been taking that for a couple months. I'll be 41 yrs old on Feb. 7th but thought since I believe I'm going through early/pre-menapause that vitamin would be a good choice. I started exercises again last Wednesday for an hour a day too. Doing 30 minutes on my stair climber then aerobics/dancing or just keeping my body moving for another 30 minutes. I wieghed my self last Wednesday and the scale said I was 150lbs BIG YUUKK!! I thought I was "just" 145lbs. Now I want to lose 20lbs. Thanks, Jeana |

It sounds like MoodBoost Drink is the supplement you are looking for. It also provides B12 and a number of other vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts and amino acids. I think that MoodBost Drink is the best natural mood booster out there. |

How about Quercetin? You can get it from eating apples or as a suppliment. Look it up, you'll find it's a natural product with many benefits.

Try the Crystal Light energy drink packets. Just tear em open and pour em in a cold bottled water.
If you are sensitive to caffeine - just use half the packet. These things are amazing, convenient, tons of flavors, have almost 0 calories and are about a quarter apiece. Oh -they work! FYI - Once you get back into working out you won't feel so sluggish anymore, either.

You might want to some research on aspartame and sucralose. Both artificial sweeteners that are often used in low calorie products. But according to some scientists they can be really bad for you. |

Lol - if you read into anything enough, EVERYTHING is bad for you in one way or the other. If you operate under that assumption, you may was well not leave your house for fear of a safe being dropped on your head.
