Talking 20/200

Hi everyone,

I'm very very new to this forum but I joined it with a purpose. The title of this thread is 20/200 and that is because I am 20 years old and weigh about 220 lbs. Yea.........It's not something I'm proud about. I am at the biggest I've ever been and it's really depressing. I have set my goal weight to be,at most, 150 lbs; so that means that i have to lose 70lbs. I want to lose it fast, who doesn't, but i do not want to have saggy skin which just means it has to be lost slowly. I recently purchased a diet pill known as curvelle but will not rely on this alone. I will change my diet and increase my exercise routine to improve my results. However, I am a little embarassed to talk about this to anyone just because it's such a personal, self esteem issue. So I went searching for a forum for women like me who have banned together to support one another, and that is when I came accross womens health. I hope to find friends in these forums as well as support and my first step is posting this thread. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post. Soapy

hi soapy, good luck, increasing your incidental exercise will really help as will limiting your fatty foods, but i hope you see yourself in a positive light. look at yourself, really look ignore the bits you dont like and focus on your beauty. i bet you have a great smile, nice skin and glossy hair, treat yourself like the gorgeous woman you are. worthy of love and happiness. so many of us eat to numb bad feelings, which in turn adds to these bad feelings. that is my belief! i hope i dont sound too wishy washy new age.

if you want alli is FDA approved and it does help the plan is great i have tried it and it works but the best part is it doesn't go into your blood system so no jitters or lose of sleep it really makes you stick to the diet cause you don,t want to have a accident even though i sometimes slipped nothing bad happened just more bathroom visits.
