Question I need a weight loss buddy =[

Okay, So I cannot do this alone. But I really need to lose some weight. Im about 152, and im 5' 4", its in all the wrong places, and I couldn't be more dissatisfied with my physical appearance. I need a buddy who shares the same fitness goals as I, and someone who can keep me on track with my working out and weight loss etc. So, just get back to me. I'll log on everyday and track my progress with someone if theres someone out there willing to support me, and wants to be supported. Send me messages.

Thanks.

I'm here if you need support. I don't need to lose weight but I can surely help and support you in your efforts. Great for you for sticking with it for nearly three weeks. Keep with it and be sure to check in a lot with your progress!

Default It is hard but I have a method to the madness

Yes, nearly 3 weeks and have only cheated a couple of times. If you wanna call it cheating. I had a subway sub instead of a salad and fruit both times. See I am on a all raw thing. I eat veggies, fruit, small amounts of dairy, and nuts of different types for 6 days and I have whatever I want on the 7th.(day of rest) I am taking a super cleanse for 30 days and cranberry/vit C pill. I have worked out an average of 3-4 time a week for this three week time.I wanna reach the goal of 30 pounds in 2 months. My husband is going for 20. I have 20 more to go and he has 11 more. He is really being great through all this. The hardest thing about this for me is not eating carbs- I love my pasta and breads! I am glad someone answered to me because no one seems to answer on here usually. I am looking forward to getting to know all who will keep me going through all this.... and maybe you will try my method of madness too. Have a great day and I will be posting often..... hugs to all, qtgotmadskillz

I love my carbs as well..... I have found that Fiber One bars (the chocolate ones ) have been the best when I crave carbs. They are 220 calories and full of fiber so they fill you up. I wouldn't make a habit out of eating them all the time, but they're good for "cheating".

Does anyone have issues with protein? I'm ok with my diet, but I find myself dreading the protein. I don't like dark meats so I use turky on a sandwhich each day (my diet is very bland and the same each day...but it works). What are some other forms of protein that people have found useful? And DON'T say tuna!! lol...I can't eat that stuff every single day.

I'm in! I was gaining weight for awhile, but now I'm back on the weight loss path! I've don't have too much farther to go, and it would be nice to have someone hold me accountable. I think I have a pretty good knowledge of what to eat and not to eat, and how metabolism works, and I know I have plenty of weight loss tips stored away, so I think we'd make a good weight loss team.

Thats true, Fiber One bars are great, but you can get ones called Fiber One Plus Antioxidants for only 120 cals and still get your 35% daily value of fiber, minus almost half the cals. And as for the sandwhich... try grilled chicken with a side of veggies instead, and spruce it up with some lime. Even the leanest breads are full of sugar and carbs, and won't keep you filled up for more than 30 mins, and cause a energy crash. Plus, most lunch meats out there are highly processed and full of fats. You're best bet is lean meats like certain cuts of steak, tilapia, flounder, and skinless turkey and chicken breast. A good idea for a filling, low calories snack is a handful of nuts. 1 serving of unsalted planters peanuts is only 170 calories and it keeps you feeling full by providing protein and essential Omega-3's, which unlike regular fats can lower your blood pressure.
